Warner Robins Georgia Moose Lodge 1688 and Women Of The Moose Chapter 1353

 The Moose Community Service program of today and for the next century challenges people to become volunteers through membership in the Moose. It calls for capable and inspired leadership and for a generous giving of thought, effort and time according to the Moose Six-Point Community Service Program. Counting hours worked, miles driven and dollars donated, the Moose contribute nearly $90 million worth of service every year to communities throughout the U.S., Canada and Great Britain.

June 10th - Annual Golf Club Scholarship Tournament

May 2007 - Walter & Macon Lodge's Sponsor, Reid

During the same week Walter Zurowski met with Reid Clifton with a child sponsored by the Macon Moose Lodge.  Reid is very active in sports and was an extra in the movie filmed on location at Mooseheart.

February 2007 - Introducing Tommy Moose

Jim Morgan, Moose International Community Service Director assisting in the presentation of "Tommy Moose" to the Houston County Sheriff's Department.  "Tommy Moose" help to comfort children in traumatic situations.

May 2007 - Ginni Goes To Gettysburg, PA

Virginia "Ginni"Dart is being presented an expense check from our lodge to attend the International Student Congress for Youth Awarewess in Gettysburg, PA. She had completed a series of "Kids Talks" and was the Georgia Moose representative.


June 9th - Donation To Houston Co Sheriff Fundraiser

Nov 13, 2007 - Moose Riders Donates To Big Brothers & Little Sisters

July 2007 Peach Co Sheriff Accepts Tommy-Moose

 

During the recent meeting of the Moose Outdoor Recreation Klub (MORK), presented the Peach County Sheriff, Terry Deese, 24 “Tommy Moose”. Making the presentation is (L) Walter Zurowski, Community Service Chairman, Sheriff Deese, and Tommy Herndon, MORK President.

September 2007 - Lodge Supports 42nd MDA Telethon

 

Members of Lodge 1688 participate in the 42nd annual Jerry Lewis Labor Day Telethone to benefit the Muscualar Diystrophy Association. MDA is a voluntary health agency working to defeat more than 40 neuromuscular diseases through programs of worldwide research, comprehensive services and far-reaching professional and public health education.
